Zentangle®, Art Activities, & Mindful Resources for Kids

Arts and Crafts For Kids

Hi, I'm Andrea!

Art can do wonders for a child's mental health. Having a creative outlet gives children the opportunity to process their world in a safe way and deal with emotions that can sometimes feel scary. Art is also a great way to learn patience, discipline, technique, and more. This is Lightly Sketched, an online blog and resource created to support the mental health of children.

“Art is unquestionably one of the purest and highest elements in human happiness. It trains the mind through the eye, and the eye through the mind. As the sun colours flowers, so does art colour life.”
– John Lubbock
We are happy to announce that our Lightly Sketched printable resources and digital coloring books are available now.
